A big crowd appeared for this monday's races. Unfortunately claudia had too many lag issues and did not start, leaving 7 boats to content for this week's TYC shelly races.
After a bit of a delay with a broken windsetter (thanks to Hay Ah for helping us out here!) we got started. Armano Xaris won 2 races, breaking a long series of victories by ziz Kidd. Congratz!

I liked this race and enjoyed this event. It's very nice to run with so many competitors.

I also liked the chart and the wind setting. Very interesting. So far, even without a lot of experience, I haven't seen many charts/settings in which strategy can make a difference. That one is good regarding that point.

By cons I am angry after me: I needed one race to learn the chart (location of the buoy), yet one more race to understand the wind, before I was finally  able (partially) to apply my analysis in the last race (in which I should have finished 2nd without a mistake in the last leg).
Congrats Armano, ziz and Kazumahs.

Hi Ox,

I noticed you overstaid (or made a similar error) on starboard on the downwind, being well ahead of nr 2 in that race.

Many races to come though and many to win. With more and more experience you will find it easier to make the right decisions under pressure.
